The world is quickly adapting to the digital world and the entry of artificial intelligence (AI) has pushed us away from the old-school ways of pen and paper. In such an era, a job seeker’s resume stood out for a senior executive at Swiggy.

The matter came to light when Saptarshi Prakash, Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Design, Swiggy shared on social media that he received a resume in the form of a personal letter from an individual for a position in the company’s design department.

In his post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Prakash said, “Received a physical letter from a designer wanting to join @Swiggy with a concept. In a digital age, this old-school approach stood out To the sender: We may not have a role now, but please email me—I’d love to see your idea!”

He further requested, “If anyone knows of design openings, please share!” The post quickly went viral with Netizens appreciating the individual for putting in so much thought in the process.

One of the users commented, “This designer can think of alternative ways that are actually outside the box, if Swiggy does contractual projects and can onboard him for any - that would be a wonderful story indeed.”

While another individual noted, "In this age , anyone using a paper of any form and a physical medium itself is refreshing . Bookmark Karlo."
