New Delhi: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani made several announcements on Thursday during the 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM).


Stating “our business and financial success” since the last annual general meeting has exceeded expectations, he said: “But what has given me more happiness than our business performance is RIL’s humanitarian efforts during these difficult times.”


Reliance's billionaire chairperson revealed that the consolidated revenue of RIL was nearly Rs 5,40,000 crore. The consolidated EBITDA was nearly Rs 98,000 crore, and almost 50 percent of the EBITDA was contributed by consumer businesses.

Speaking at the AGM meeting held amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Reliance Foundation chairperson and founder Nita Ambani said the RIL’s Mission Vaccine Suraksha is one of India’s largest corporate vaccination drives to vaccinate 20 lakh of our family, including retired employees, partner company employees and their families free of cost.
