On being asked the reason for his tattoo, he shared a heartwarming story that highlighted how Tata touched the hearts and lives of millions of Indians with his philanthropic ways.
Sharing the video on the social media platform Instagram, tattoo artist Mahesh Chavan captioned it, “India has lost a legend.” The man getting the tattoo in the video explained that Ratan Tata’s institutions helped his friend in a moment of dire need.
He said that his friend was struggling with cancer and excessive medical bills made his life even more difficult. During this time, they discovered Tata Trusts which helped them majorly by providing free treatment for his friend.
He further noted that this experience changed his life and inspired him to follow Ratan Tata’s principles. He shared that he considered Tata to be a ‘real-life God’ and hoped the tattoo to be seen as a small token of appreciation for his contributions to society.
