New Delhi: SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to his Twitter account to share a screengrab of an “auto-generated” mail received from the micro-blogging platform on how to run the company.
According to the email, Musk needs to complete a mandatory course “Managing @Twitter 101” and that too within 30 days.
The email reads, “Hey Elon, It’s time to start Managing @Twitter 101 (M101). M101 covers what it means to be a good manager at Twitter by showing you how to create opportunities for impact, help your Tweeps grow their careers, and demonstrate care for your team. Psst...You have only got 30 days to finish this mandatory course. And once you're done, we will enroll you in Managing @Twitter 201.”
Musk, along with the screengrab of the email, posted, “Just received this email from Twitter. This is an actual, real email that was auto-generated.”
In another tweet, he wrote, “So demanding to allow a mere 30 days to learn this priceless information,” and added, “But Management 201 is such a tantalising carrot…”
The latest tweet has gone viral on the social media and netizens couldn’t help react on it.
A Twitter user wrote, ““Perfect…lol The owner of Twitter has to do a mandatory Managing 101.”
Another wrote, “Wish you much success in finishing Managing @Twitter 101.”
Meanwhile, as per reports, Musk has decided to begin laying off employees at Twitter, days after he completed the USD 44-billion acquisition of the social media company.
According to a report by The New York Times, some managers were being asked to "draw up lists of employees to cut."
"Musk, who completed a USD 44-billion deal to buy Twitter on Thursday, has ordered the cuts across the company, with some teams to be trimmed more than others," the report said.
