Kaivalya Vohra, a 21-year-old entrepreneur and co-founder of the fast-growing company Zepto, has once again achieved a notable milestone. For the third consecutive year, he has been recognised as the youngest individual to appear on the Hurun India Rich List for 2024. With a net worth of Rs 3,600 crore, Vohra maintains his position as the youngest among the wealthiest individuals in India.

Vohra, who was born in Bengaluru, made his debut on the Hurun India Rich List in 2022 at the age of 19. The Hurun India Rich List, now celebrating its 13th year, highlights 1,539 individuals with a net worth exceeding Rs 1,000 crore. This year’s edition introduces 272 new entrants, showing the dynamic nature of India's wealthy elite.

At 18, Vohra left Stanford University, where he was enrolled in a computer science program, to co-found Zepto alongside his friend Aadit Palicha. Palicha, who is 22 years old and the second youngest individual on the Hurun India Rich List, has amassed a net worth of Rs 4,300 crore.

Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha initially launched Zepto under the name Kiranakart, an online grocery delivery service that promised to deliver groceries within 45 minutes. Over time, they expanded and rebranded Kiranakart into Zepto, operating under Kiranakart Technologies Private Limited.

Zepto serves numerous cities today, including Bengaluru, Lucknow, Delhi, and Chennai. The company's valuation has surged dramatically, reaching unicorn status in August 2023 with a valuation of $1.4 billion.

In addition to his notable achievements, Forbes has recognised Kaivalya Vohra in its prestigious 30 Under 30 Asia list.
