The final allotment of the Mobikwik maiden offer will be completed today. Investors who placed bids for the initial public offering (IPO) will find out the allotment status of their application on December 16, 2024.


The maiden offer was open for subscription from December 11-13, 2024. It was priced in the range of Rs 265 to Rs 279 with a minimum lot size of 53 shares. The issue was oversubscribed 119.38 times by the end of the subscription window. The firm's shares will make their debut in the stock market on December 18, 2024.


Retail individual investors subscribed 134.67 times their reserved quota, while Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) placed 119.50 times bids their reserved quota. Meanwhile, non-institutional investors (NIIs) subscribed 108.95 times for the issue.


Investors can check the allotment status of their bids on the official website of the exchanges or the issue’s registrar, Link Intime India.


The unlisted shares of the firm continued to trade at a strong premium in the grey market. On Monday, the shares of Mobikwik traded near Rs 444, indicating a grey market premium (GMP) of 59.14 per cent against the upper end of the IPO price band of Rs 279. Grey market is an unofficial market running parallel to the stock market. Investors can place bets or trades here before an issue gets officially listed in the stock market. A grey market premium represents investors' confidence regarding the upcoming listing.


One Mobikwik Systems (Mobikwik) is a technology-driven company specialising in digital financial services and payment solutions. As of June 2024, the firm operated a user base of more than 161 million and a merchant network of 4.26 million.
