New Delhi: The International Advertising Association (IAA) World Congress came to an end on Friday, after a three-day ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Lulu International Convention Centre in Kochi, Kerala. The event opened on February 20.  Around 2,000 delegates participated in the World Congress of IAA.ABP News is silver partner for the event.


On the closing day of the Congress, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and Tennis player Andre Agassi were among the speakers.

Deepika Padukone talked about mental health and overcoming depression, Agassi also spoke at length about succeeding - failing - finding purpose - taking ownership.

Reliance Industries CMD Mukesh Ambani, Unilever CEO Paul Polman, Qualcomm CEO Steven Mollenkopf, Infosys non-executive Chairman Nandan Nilekani, Softbank Investment Advisers CEO Rajeev Misra and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar addressed the 44th World Congress of IAA. Besides the industrialists, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone also spoke at the event.

Other speakers included tennis legend Andre Agassi, Vijay Amritraj, Alibaba Group Chief Marketing Officer Chris Tung, Facebook VP of global marketing solutions Carolyn Everson, co-founder of Skype Jonas Kjellberg.

IAA World Congress, which is held in India for the first time, was on theme 'Brand Dharma', which addressed the growing need for brands to have a higher purpose.
