Gold prices in India have registered a sharp fall on Tuesday. The yellow metal in the global market has remained stable after reaching a week's low in the last session. Gold August futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange were trading higher by Rs 59 at Rs 47,833 per 10 grams, while the previous closing price was Rs 47,774. On the other hand, the Silver September futures price was up by Rs 115 or 0.8% at Rs 69,490 per kg. In the previous session, silver futures had closed at Rs 69,375 per kg.


Fall in Gold price


Let us inform that the price of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 100 per 10 grams to Rs 47,710 on Tuesday, which was Rs 47,810 in the previous trading session. On the other hand, silver fell by Rs 200 per kg to Rs 69,100 per kg from Rs 69,300 in the previous trade.

Meanwhile, the prices of gold in the international market remained stable. Spot gold rose 0.1% to $1,807.22 per ounce and US gold futures also rose 0.1% to $1,808.1 per ounce.
