In international markets, the price of gold has fallen after being at the top for three weeks, while in India, the price of 22-carat gold has increased by Rs 320 to Rs 46750 per 10 grams on Wednesday.

Gold prices in India have strengthened on Wednesday, while gold prices in international markets have plunged after three weeks of topping the list. On Multi Commodity Exchange gold August futures were trading Rs 72 up at Rs 47,756 per 10 grams, while the previous closing price was Rs 47,684. On the other hand, silver September futures were trading marginally higher at Rs 69,541 per kg. In the previous session, MCX silver fell by Rs 70,000 to close at Rs 69,512 per kg.

According to the Good Returns website, the price of silver has also risen by Rs 200 a day earlier to Rs 70,600 per kg on Wednesday.
