Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate the Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE) on November 23, 2023, which will last two days. The event will highlight India’s growing digital ambitions, its tech transformation, and hold a dialogue about new-age innovations.
The event, hosted by Trescon, will see the Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, and other dignitaries. The IT Minister will address the event as the chief guest and is expected to talk about the increasing impact of upcoming technologies and the country’s digital aspirations, reported PTI.
The event will see India’s major technology leaders, start-ups, investors, enterprise decision-makers, and policymakers participate at the Yashobhoomi (IICC Dwarka) in New Delhi.
Other speakers at the event include Sanjeev Sanyal, member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, Tejasvi Surya, MP, Abhishek Singh, MD, and CEO of Digital India Corporation (DIC). Kamal Bali, president and managing director, Volvo Group, India and chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (Cll) - South India, Sanjiv Bajaj, joint chairman and MD, Bajaj Capital, Gopal Asthana, CEO, TataCliQ, and Himanshu Chakrawarti, CEO, Snapdeal are among the other prominent participants for the expo.
The event will see the industry leaders engage in discussions on topics such as future of Generative AI, rise of conversational commerce, democratising software development, navigating multi-Cloud, AI, ML, and Low-Code environment.

Trescon is organising the expo in collaboration with Cyberverse Foundation. Other partners for the event include the Federation of Indian Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and other government and non-government organisations.
