For the past year, the world's two richest men, Tesla chief Elon Musk and Amazon chief Jeff Bezos have been at war to become the world's richest person. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again surpassed Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos in the ongoing battle of becoming the richest person in the world.  Elon Musk is now the third person in the world to cross the $200 billion net worth mark, according to a Forbes report.


Elon rakes in big bucks as Tesla shares rise


Tesla CEO Elon Musk's wealth rose by $4.13 Billion to $213 Billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Meanwhile, Elon Musk's main rival and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' wealth has come down by $1.03 billion to $197 billion. After the net-worth growth, Elon Musk has once again overtaken Jeff Bezos to become the world's richest man. Jeff Bezos is now second on this list.


They are followed by Bernard Arnault of France, who is in third place with $160 Billion. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is fourth with a total net-worth of $132 Billion.


Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, who had long held the position of the world's richest man, now occupies the fifth position on the list with a fortune of $128 Billion. After Bill Gates, Google founder Larry Page is ranked sixth with $126 billion in assets, while Sergey Brin is seventh with $121 billion.


Mukesh Ambani gets 11th position


Indian industrialist Mukesh Ambani's wealth has also increased by $1.52 Billion and he currently occupies the 11th position with $96.8 Billion in assets.
