Tesla’s founder, Elon Musk, surpassed Bernard Arnault and Jeff Bezos to become the richest person in the world, the Forbes Real Time Billionaires list revealed. Musk, with a net worth of $210.7 billion, secured the top spot in the list, while Arnault stood a close second with wealth of $201 billion. Bezos secured the third position in the list with a net worth of $197.4 billion, the Forbes list revealed.
Musk has now become the richest person in the world and leads multiple firms such as Tesla and SpaceX. Earlier in October 2022, the businessman acquired the social media platform X (earlier known as Twitter) for $44 billion.
As of May 31, 2024, the rankings of the Forbes Real Time Billionaire list showed Musk at the top of the list. After Arnault and Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg stood fourth in the list with a net worth of $163.9 billion. Larry Ellison secured the fifth spot with a wealth of $146.2 billion.
Larry Page was ranked sixth in the list with a net worth of $142.6 billion, while the seventh place was Sergey Brin with a wealth of $136.6 billion. Warren Buffett stood eighth with wealth of $134.9 billion, followed by Bill Gates at ninth spot with a net worth of $128.6 billion. Steve Ballmer stood last in the top 10 with a net worth of $123.1 billion.
