Budget 2024: Govt Aims To Get Rs 50,000 Crore From Disinvestment In FY25

Interim Budget: The government had announced a strategic disinvestment policy on February 1, 2021 to provide a clear roadmap for privatisation of strategic and non- strategic CPSEs

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1 (Thursday) presented the interim Budget of the Modi-led NDA government 2.0 for the financial year 2024-25. But, in her sixth Budget speech, the finance minister did not mention the disinvestment target for the next financial year like last year.
