Economists and rating agencies are bullish about a continuity in policy rate cuts by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) this fiscal, FY2025-26, given the external pressures on growth and benign inflation even as India, on Monday, registered a further downtrend in the Consumer Price Index (CPI)-based inflation at 1.5 per cent on-year for September 2025 from 2.1 per cent in August this year.
