Axie Infinity, BAYC, Azuki, More: Top 10 NFT Collections By All-Time Sales Volume

NBA Top Shot, Art Blocks, VeeFriends, CloneX, and more collections are also part of the top 10 list.

Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are slowly taking the world by storm, offering companies a fresh way to engage better with customers and also letting creators monetise their work better. As per billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban-backed industry data aggregator CryptoSlam, NFTs have recorded a total all-time sales of $36.98 billion, seeing over 84 million transactions between over 5.3 million buyers and over 6 million sellers. From Axie Infinity to Azuki, here are the top 10 NFT collections by all-time sales volume (in reverse order), as per CryptoSlam.

10. VeeFriends

The brainchild of Belarusian-American entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, VeeFriends NFT project has been built around “meaningful intellectual property and an extraordinary community.” As per CryptoSlam, the collection has seen an all-time sales of over $549.83 million, with over 14,200 transactions by over 6,300 buyers.

9. CloneX

Created by Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami in collaboration with creator-led organisation RTFKT, the CloneX collection has recorded an all-time sales of over $684.76 million, with over 18,170 transactions by nearly 9,500 buyers.

8. Azuki

Starting with a collection of 10,000 digital avatars, Azuki offers buyers access to ‘The Garden,’ which is described on OpenSea as “a corner of the internet where artists, builders, and Web3 enthusiasts meet to create a decentralised future.” As per CryptoSlam, Azuki has seen an all-time sales of over $767.97 million, with 30,510 transactions by over 13,900 buyers.

7. Otherdeed

Otherdeed NFT owners will gain access to the Otherside metaverse. Each token has a “unique blend of environment and sediment — some with resources, some home to powerful artifacts.” to date, Otherdeed has seen a total sales of over $954.19 million, with over 43,300 transactions by over 20,820 buyers.

6. NBA Top Shot

NBA Top Shot offers basketball fans a chance to own, sell, and trade official NFTs of the NBA and WNBA, showcasing the leagues’ greatest plays and players. As per CryptoSlam, NBA Top Shot has seen a total all-time sales of over $1 billion, with over 20.4 million transactions by over 440,450 buyers.

5. Art Blocks

Art Blocks is a collection of curated offerings from creators around the world. As per CryptoSlam, Art Blocks has so far recorded a total sales of over $1.26 billion, with nearly 160,650 transactions by over 29,970 buyers.

4. Mutant Ape Yacht Club

The Mutant Ape Yacht Club is a play on the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. As per OpenSea, Mutant Apes “can only be created by exposing an existing Bored Ape to a vial of MUTANT SERUM or by minting a Mutant Ape in the public sale.” The Mutant Ape collection has seen a total all-time sales of over $1.55 billion, with nearly 39,530 transactions by over 21,250 buyers.

3. Bored Ape Yacht Club

A collection of 10,000 unique Bored Ape NFTs, the collection has seen an all-time sales of over $2.19 billion, with 29,555 transactions by nearly 11,320 buyers.

2. CryptoPunks

Launched in 2017 with a collection of 10,000 pixellated cartoon characters, CryptoPunks has garnered an all-time sales of $2.25 billion, with nearly 21,150 transactions by 5,615 buyers, as per CryptoSlam.

1. Axie Infinity

Developed by Vietnam-based Sky Mavis, NFT-based game Axie Infinity is popular for its in-game crypto-based economy. As per CryptoSlam, Axie Infinity has seen an all-time sales of $4.07 billion, with over 16.32 million transactions by over 1.75 million buyers.
