What Crypto Exchanges Are Saying About Current Market Scenario

Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel told ABP Live, “Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has surged past the $30,600 threshold, recording a nearly 2 percent increase. This upswing is largely due to the market's reaction to Fidelity Investments' renewed application for a spot Bitcoin ETF, following the rejection of their initial attempt by the US SEC in 2022. Moreover, the announcement of MicroStrategy's purchase of an additional $374 million worth of Bitcoin has also had a significant impact on market sentiment. As of now, Bitcoin faces immediate resistance at the $30,750 level, while its support is established at $30,420. Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, has shown a similar trend by gaining around 2 percent in the same 24-hour period.”

Parth Chaturvedi, Investments Lead, CoinSwitch Ventures, said, “Crypto markets have traded sideways in the last 24 hours, even amidst rekindled inflationary concerns and proposed Fed rate hikes. The global crypto market capitalisation, up 1.5 percent, continues to remain above $1.2 trillion and has covered up for yesterday’s downfall. The crypto fear and greed index has jumped 2 points to re-enter the greed zone with a score of 56/100.”

Shivam Thakral, the CEO of BuyUCoin, said, “The crypto market demonstrated a modest 0.23 percent increase in volume over the past 24 hours, reaching a total of $31.62 billion. Notably, the decentralised finance (DeFi) sector contributed $2.51 billion, accounting for 7.95 percent of the total crypto market's 24-hour volume. This highlights DeFi's continued significance and influence within the broader crypto ecosystem.”

CoinDCX Research Team told ABP Live, “Bitcoin is trading near $30,700, up by 2 percent in last 24 hours as investors digest fresh restriction rhetoric from the US Fed's Jerome Powell. The world's largest digital asset by market capitalisation is caught in a dilemma between enthusiasm over recent institutional ETF filings and the Fed chair's commitment to more rate hike cycles.”
