Important digital services, like mobile banking, UPI, and Internet banking would not be disrupted by these holidays and will be available for customers across India. Any hindrance in these services would be informed beforehand, however, customers would not have access to the physical bank branches on the bank holidays, depending on the region.
In India, bank holidays are listed under the State Government, Central Government, and Union Territories Act of 1881. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), publishes the annual bank holiday calendar for the whole year, and this is followed by all the banks across India.
