The offline bank branches will be closed on these holidays, however, the digital services such as mobile banking, UPI, and internet banking would continue to be operational undisrupted and be accessible to customers across India. Any additional changes in the bank schedule would be informed to the customers before hand.
Bank holidays in India are listed under the State Government, Central Government, and Union Territories Act of 1881. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), publishes the bank holiday calendar for the full year, and this calendar is followed by all the banks across India.
