New Delhi (India), July 31: Maharashtra, known for its culture, spirituality, and beauty, is home to a hidden gem - the Diamond of Tourism. The rapid growth of infrastructure in this area will soon provide 50% faster connectivity with three major metropolises namely Mumbai, Pune and Surat. The centerpiece of this transformation is the access-controlled Samruddhi Expressway, scheduled for completion this year. One of the remarkable features of the expressway is the 8 km-long tunnel that bypasses the Kasara Ghat, offering a seamless route.

Maharashtra's Diamond of Tourism

At the four points of this diamond lie four unique tourist destinations - Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar, Nashik, and Shirdi.

  • Igatpuri: The hill station attracts visitors who seek scenic beauty, meditation and adventure activities.

  • Trimbakeshwar: Home to the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples in India. It also hosts the Kumbh Mela, which attracts millions of pilgrims.

  • Nashik: Nashik offers a delightful blend of spirituality and leisure. The city is filled with vineyards and wineries, making it India’s wine capital.

  • Shirdi: Known as the abode of Sai Baba, Shirdi has become one of the top religious destinations in India. Devotees from all over the world flock to Shirdi.

The completion of the Samruddhi Expressway is expected to trigger a significant surge in tourism in the area. Reports indicate that high-quality lodging options are already scarce, especially during the peak monsoon and winter seasons. This scarcity presents a lucrative opportunity for real estate owners to offer nightly rentals as an alternative to hotels. One such success story is Priyanka Rohan Sakpal, a customer of Sarvppratham Developers, who rents out her pool villa in Palm Hills and consistently enjoys high occupancy rates and competitive pricing.

Anand Khattar, from Sarvppratham Developers, understands the immense potential of Maharashtra's diamond of tourism. He remarks, "Maharashtra's diamond of tourism offers the option of accessing four tourist destinations and not just one. This makes it a unique weekend home destination, unlike Lonavala or Alibaug, where you are restricted to one location. This is why we decided to build a highway touch integrated township right at its center."

While this region shows great potential as a second home destination, the enhanced connectivity might also make it an attractive first-home option for those seeking more space and a higher standard of living at a lower cost. This development could parallel the growth of American suburbs, following the development of interstate highways and expressways.

Founded in 2006 with roots in land consolidation, Sarvppratham Developers is a pioneering real estate developer in the region. It has gained recognition for its efforts and has been awarded the Emerging Brand of the Year 2024 by Bollywood producer Arbaaz Khan. Kishori Shahane, the first brand ambassador, and recently appointed actor Priya Marathe, the newest member of Sarvppratham, further endorse and represent the company's commitment. Sarvppratham is currently developing Palm Hills villas, Anandvann apartments and the Highway Plaza shopping complex. Upcoming projects include another villa complex and luxury thematic farmhouses.
