Among the ever-growing Indian car market with several new launches now and then, there are some cars that hold the buyers interest and right on the job, you have Maruti's Wagon R taking the top spot in November 2023 sales. The Wagon R is yet again India's best selling car in November as it sold 16,567 units. However, the Wagon R is not the only popular product from Maruti Suzuki that continues its dominance on the sales charts. That said, the Swift also remains close by with the compact sedan version Dzire and the hatchback selling in high numbers as well being the third and the second largest selling cars in India. The Dzire sold 15,965 units while the Swift sold 15,311 units.
Besides the popular favourites from Maruti Suzuki, the new Tata Nexon continues its roaring start and maintains its lead as the highest selling SUV in India with sales figures of 14,916 units. The Nexon is followed by its smaller sibling, the Tata Punch which recorded a sales figure of 14,383. Next up is the Brezza SUV from Maruti which has notched up sales of 13,393 units while the Ertiga is the best selling MPV in India with sales of 12,857 units. Another popular offering from the house of Maruti Suzuki, the Baleno also slides in between the two cars with sales of 12,961 units.

The Scorpio N and the Classic continue to make it the best selling SUV brand above 4m with sales of 12,185 units in November. While the current Creta would be replaced soon, it still finds a place amongst the top 10 with sales of 11,814 units in November. However, the post festive sales have also indicated a drop in month on month sales while Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata still occupy the top 3 positions overall. Maruti had a 20 percent drop in sales compared to the earlier month while Hyundai and Tata Motors also saw a drop of 10 to 4.7 percent as well.
