Toyota 2022 Cars: The Japanese car manufacturing giant, Toyota is likely to launch four of its new cars this year. The first vehicle to be launched by Toyota this year will be the Hilux pickup. Bookings have already begun for this. It will be available in two types namely, standard and high. The price of this pickup is estimated to be around Rs 35 lakh. However, the company has not disclosed its prices yet, but you can book it for Rs 50 thousand. The price of Hilux pickup will be revealed in the month of March.
Hilux will have a strong engine
The Hilux will have a 2.8-litre diesel engine. It generates a maximum power output of 204 PS and a peak torque of 420 Nm with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Toyota is giving a 4×4 systems as standard with Hilux. If you opt for a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, then the torque output increases to 500 Nm.
Updated Urban Cruiser
Toyota is also expected to launch its updated version of Urban Cruiser soon. It is expected that Toyota will be able to launch its updated Urban Cruiser by July-August this year.
New Generation Toyota Glanza
Toyota rebadged Baleno as Glanza and sold it in India. Maruti Suzuki will launch the updated Baleno in February this year. Therefore, Toyota will also have to update its Glanza. However, the date of launch of the updated Glanza has not been yet made official.
Toyota's new mid-size SUV
Toyota and Maruti Suzuki are working on a new mid-size SUV that will compete with the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks and Kia Seltos. The new mid-size SUV could be the biggest launch of the year for both companies.
