Toyota has stopped bookings for its top-end Innova Hycross variants with effect from 8th April. The main reason for that is due to supply constraints. The Innova Hycross has been available in five trims since launch and the ZX and the ZX(O) comprise the top-end variants. These top-end variants include the hybrid powertrain options only while the base variants are available with the 2.0 petrol.

The top-end ZX and ZX(O) include many features like ADAS technology, dual zone climate control, an extendable leg rest, ventilated front seats, 9 speaker JBL audio system, side and curtain airbags.

The top-end optional ZX trims get ADAS features including lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor and more. Toyota has not revealed when the bookings will resume but we think it is due to supply constraints and will be restarted soon.

The top-end Innova ZX hybrid is priced at Rs 29 lakh while the ZX(O) is seventy thousand more. These two variants are the top-end trims and carry a premium over the VX trim level. The new Innova Hycross has been immensely popular ever since its launch in India and the hybrid especially has seen the most popularity with the top-end variants in demand.

The new Innova Hycross comes with a 2.0l petrol engine for the two base variants while the hybrid powertrain line-up comprises the higher variants. The Innova Hycross ZX and the ZX(O) also include a 7-seater layout with captain style second row seats with extra features for the passengers at the second row.

The new Innova Hycross it seems has been very popular even though it no longer has a diesel engine. Toyota moved to a new platform and added more features including ADAS driver assistance feature, which is fitted to a Toyota for the first time.
