There are new EVs coming soon which occupy the premium end of the compact SUV space while giving buyers more options. These are above 4m and will come with larger battery packs with more range. Here, we take a look at the top EVs coming your way this year.

Tata Curvv EV

Tata Motors will launch the Curvv EV first before launching the ICE variants and it will be the most powerful EV from Tata Motors before the Sierra comes in. The Curvv EV will have more range than the Nexon EV at around 500km while it will get EV specific styling cues along with aero inserts as well. The interiors would be feature packed with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The Curvv will also get V2L features just like on premium EVs.

Hyundai Creta EV

Hyundai will most likely keep the Creta EV competitive in terms of pricing while also being its first mass market EV, it would be a big launch. It is derived from the Creta platform which would be modified while we expect a 45 or 50kWh battery pack to be available with the Creta EV. Styling wise, the Creta EV will be different in terms of looks with the standard Creta with EV specific styling cues.

Maruti eVX

The eVX will be coming in early next year and will come with a range of 550km along with a 60kWh battery pack. It will be the first EV from Maruti Suzuki while being based on an EV skateboard platform while being 4.3m in length. The styling would be similar to the concept and will be quite spacious with its EV specific architecture.

Mahindra XUV.e8

This would be the first born electric SUV which would be based on an electric only architecture while also being based on the INGLO platform. The XUV.e8 while having similar proportions to the XUV700 will have a different look with a blanked off grille along with a light bar. The interiors would be having a different look too with a different looking steering wheel which has an illuminated logo plus a segment first passenger screen too.
