Royal Enfield Scram 411: Royal Enfield is ready to come up with a range of new bikes for consumers including new 650cc ones but its next launch is based on the Himalayan. The Himalayan is a more adventure based tourer but for a more road based motorcycle version, the new Scram 411 is the answer. As the name says it is a Scrambler and will borrow a lot from the Himalayan including its 24bhp engine. However it's design would be slightly different with a new headlamp cowl and a new seat along with a new instrument cluster.

Royal Enfield Scram 411: Specifications

Unlike the Himalayan, the Scram 411 would be for the road hence will get smaller wheels and would be without luggage racks as well. We do expect this bike to have a high ground clearance of 200mm but that still makes it less than the Himalayan which has 220mm. There would be a new colour scheme, badging and small details to make it look different from Himalayan too. Being lighter means the Scram 411 would be easier to ride and be a more sportier option.

We expect this new bike to be easier to live with in terms of practicality and the engine could also be tuned for city riding rather than being a full ADV like the Himalayan. In terms of rivals, the Scram 411 is aimed at the Yezdi Scrambler as its main rival while pricing wise, the newest Royal Enfield would be cheaper than the Himalayan. Expect a price starting at Rs 2 lakh. It would be about expanding the Himalayan range and getting more buyers.
