MD of Royal Enfield, Siddhartha Lal has revealed the Hunter 350 and as expected it is the newest entrant into the RE 350 family. The model shown has a dual-tone finish while also clearly borrowing a lot from its 350cc siblings like the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. The images also reveal the twin pod instrument which also has a Tripper Navigation though it may not be offered as standard as part of top-end variants and might be an option.
Further details can be seen such as black alloy wheels, split grab rails, tear-drop shaped tank and a single seat. Also expect other versions to have wire spoked wheels along with the black ones seen in the images.
The bike would be aimed at a sportier rider being shorter plus being less heavy than the Classic and Meteor. Despite being powered by the same 349cc engine as the other Royal Enfield 350cc models, the engine could be tuned for a different riding experience.
However, it will also get the expected 5-speed gearbox though with the 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, along with the less weight, expect better performance. Price wise too it would be placed below the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 while competing with the likes of the Honda CB 350 RS, TVS Ronin plus the Jawa 42 as well.
With the launch happening in the coming days, expect more details and exact specifications to come in but it does show how Royal Enfield is wanting to tap into different segments plus by making its bikes more accessible too.
