Jeep will bring the new generation Compass which would grow in size and become more premium while possibly leaving room below for another more affordable model.

The next generation Jeep Compass would be all new and it will get the new STLA Medium Platform which means that this modular platform will result in maximising space plus have a high-energy density single-layer battery pack at the assembly plant to make it as efficient as possible.

Yes, this modular platform will mean an EV version of the Compass which would have possibly a 400-volt electric architecture and battery packs upto 98 kilowatt-hours (kWh). The Standard battery pack will mean upto 500km range.

The next gen Jeep Compass with this modular platform will mean both ICE and EVs would be developed together. Hence, the next generation Jeep Compass is expected to be more spacious and bigger in size with a different styling theme.

Along with an EV variant, the next generation Compass will also get turbo petrol and diesels which means diesel will still continue to be offered most probably with the next gen Compass. While of course details are sketchy, the next gen Compass will be more premium with expanding the 30 lakh plus space.

The next gen Compass will share the platform with other Stellantis group brands including Citroen. According to Stellantis, the cars made in the platform could hover between 4.3-4.9m while being more flexible in terms of added space.

Currently, the Compass is the backbone of the Jeep sales in India and this generation model is still a few years away with a possible introduction in 2026. Jeep meanwhile could bring in the current gen Compass petrol soon with the recent launch of the 4x2 variants.
