Here are images of the new MG Astor facelift and these images reveal an entirely new look front end of this compact SUV. The new MG Astor has a new look front which has no connection with the current model. There is a new look pattern and a sleek set of headlamps that connects to the gloss black upper grille.

The MG logo is also no longer in the middle of the grille as it is placed above. The new look is sleek and there are wider intakes as well with a more aggressively designed front bumper. There are new wheels too with a subtle hint of cladding.

Specifications

The side view of the Astor is the same and the rear styling is also similar with the same set of tail lamps. MG has not changed the tail-lamps it seems, unlike the all-new front. The interior though is all-new while the steering wheel looks the same, the digital instrument cluster and the new touchscreen are joined together.

The screen looks bigger and the centre console is also all new along with a new set of controls. It also gets an electric handrake plus more features like a panoramic sunroof plus ADAS, 360-degree camera and more are expected while it could also get new features such as dual powered seats too.

We expect engine options to stay the same though but MG could tweak the gearbox options though and revamp the Astor range. The new Astor could be a part of the onslaught of new cars planned for India under the new JV revealed sometime back.
