At the Bangkok International Motor Show, Ford has shown a special version of the new Endeavour or Everest which is a more off-road-styled version. The new generation Endeavour is currently one of the most hotly anticipated cars to be launched in India signalling Ford's return to India.

At the show, Ford has shown a special matte-coloured version plus also a more off-road spec iteration with a different look. This new Endeavour or Everest Wildtrack version looks appealing in this black matte shade and adds a sinister look to it.

The new bumper gives it an even more aggressive look and has an integrated bull bar with LED lights while helping it improve its off-road abilities. Elsewhere, this new toughened-up Endeavour has special off-road spec tyres wrapped around 20-inch wheels.

The rear styling though is similar to the standard new Everest or new Endeavour with not many changes. This new Endeavour looks butch and will be more focussed towards off-roading and will improve its approach and departure angles.

New Endeavour With New Technology

The new Endeavour would be the first launch once Ford restarts its presence in India but at the start, it could be bringing the new Endeavour as a CBU and later assembling it.

The new generation Endeavour offers more technology and the India spec version could be a twin-turbo diesel 2.0l which is also offered across other markets. The Endeavour will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the MG Gloster while re-establishing itself in the plus-size SUV segment.

The older Endeavour has a fan following in India which the new one will cash in and there is a lot of buzz around the entry of this to the Indian market too.
