Hyundai Venue SUV Features: Hyundai has added a very important feature to the Venue and it is the advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). Till now we have seen ADAS limited to the Tucson, Verna, and the Ioniq5 while now the Venue also gets it.
The Venue gets the latest suite of ADAS features namely:
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Car (FCA-Car)
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Pedestrian (FCA-Ped)
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Cycle (FCA-Cyl)
- Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
- Lane Following Assist (LFA)
- High Beam Assist (HBA)
- Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA)
Both the Venue N line and the Venue get these features and that means that a safety feature normally seen on more expensive cars is now trickling into more mass-market cars. This update makes the Venue the most affordable SUV to get ADAS.
Not only that but the Venue and the Venue N Line get a 6-speed manual for the turbo petrol engine. The other powertrain options remain the same. The new combination is offered on S(O) and SX(O) for Venue and on N6 and N8 variants for Venue N Line.
Hyundai recently has been focussing on safety and is equipping its cars with safety features from the word go. The Exter for example has more safety equipment than many of its rivals while also getting a dashcam. The Venue N line also gets a dashcam like its smaller Exter sibling. Competition has increased in the below 4m SUV space with the Nexon getting a new look and an all-new interior. With the Venue getting these updates, the sub-compact SUV segment is now seeing more competition than ever.
