New Delhi: Hyundai is all set to launch its next big product in the N-Line range in India after the i20. The launch would of course be the Venue N-Line which would be launched in the coming days. It is a sportier version of the Venue but as the i20 N-Line proved, it goes beyond just a simple sportier paint job or different alloys.
The Venue N-Line is expected to sport significant performance-orientated upgrades and we also expect it to be available with the 1.0 Turbo Petrol only with both the DCT and the iMT gearbox options. The standard Venue is also available with a 1.2l. petrol and a 1.5 diesel engine.
The N-Line Venue would be more aggressively styled with different wheels, new design elements and an interior with red elements along with different gear-knob or seats like the i20 N-Line. Even the steering wheel is expected to have a new look with a sportier twist. A louder exhaust and a retuned suspension could also be on the cards. The N-Line range has been successful in India with the i20 N-Line finding quite a few buyers with no competition for it as well. The Venue N-Line also won't have any competition as such in terms of being a sportier subcompact SUV that is focused on performance.
The Venue N-Line would be positioned above the standard Venue which itself has had a big sales increase post the launch of the facelift version in India while catering to enthusiasts who want an SUV but also the performance of a hot hatch. We will have more details soon on what to expect so stay tuned.
