We have all of the details on the Creta facelift and here we will tell you what to expect from this new compact SUV. While it is not a generation change, it is a comprehensive facelift and brings in many new changes plus feature additions while there is also a new powertrain.

Exterior

The new Creta facelift here looks nearly all new thanks to a completely new face and a new rear look. The front now gets the latest Hyundai parametric design language but is different from the Creta facelift sold in other markets. There is a big new grille with a design similar to the Venue and it also gets quad beam LED lamps while there is also a full width light bar. The bumper design is also all new and comes with silver finish skid plate. There are new alloy wheels too while the rear styling is a big change with a square shaped look. The bumper also gets square shaped elements and the full light bar makes the car look wide from the rear.

Interior

The interior is all new as well with two 10.25-inch screens and a new digital instrument cluster. There are some physical controls though while features like the passenger aircon vent design is all new as well. There are a lot more features on offer with 19 ADAS Level 2 features, a new digital instrument cluster which changes the view according to the drive mode, dual zone climate control, ambient lighting, 360 camera, a voice controlled panoramic sunroof, 8-way power adjust driver seat with ventilation for both the front seats, Blue -Link connectivity, BOSE premium sound 8-speaker system and a multi-language UI display etc. While this is not a generation change, the new Creta would be expected to have the same space as the earlier one.

Safety

Hyundai claims that the structure of the Creta has now been strengthened further and changes have been made to get a possible good score at the Bharat Ncap ratings.

Engine

The new Creta facelift gets a new turbo petrol engine with a 160 bhp 1.5l turbo petrol engine which is only available with a DCT automatic. There are the other two 1.5 NA petrol and a diesel of course with CVT/ torque converter too along with a manual.

Price

We are expecting a minimal price increase for the new Creta but Hyundai would be keen to keep it competitive due to rivals like the Seltos and Grand Vitara.
