MG recently revealed the Astor SUV for India and it would be its next big launch for the Indian market. We already spoke about some of the features of this midsize SUV earlier but this time we will show you the LED DRL headlamps and the tail-lamps of the Astor.

The front of the Astor comes with LED headlamps DRLs along with a hexagonal grille. The LED DRLs double up as turn indicators too. We also get a preview of what the rear styling of the Astor looks like in terms of the new LED tail-lamps plus the Astor badging along with the curved roof.

The tail-lamps edge out of the car as you can see and makes the Astor look wider. Amongst other features expect a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a powered driver's seat, etc. The ADAS tech feature has been revealed as well with level 2 capability including a suite of features like adaptive cruise control, auto emergency brake, forward collision warning, lane departure control, and more.

As revealed before, the onboard AI assistant will also be there with human-like voices and talk to you. The connected tech suite of the Astor would be run by a Jio e-SIM too. MG also bundled up a list of various subscriptions and features to go along with it. Expect petrol engines at launch with both automatic plus manual gearbox options for the Astor. The main powertrain in focus would be the 1.3-litre turbo petrol unit with upwards of 160 bhp being expected.

The Astor would be the second SUV from MG in this 4m plus midsize SUV space after the Hector. We expect more details to be announced soon for the Astor. No doubt that Astor would increase competition in this space which is already having so many options. Stay tuned for more information in the coming days leading up to the launch.
