Citroen Starts Home Delivery Of C5 Aircross SUV in India
In the first of its kind sales initiative, an automobile company has engaged in the home-delivery of its cars. Citroen made its debut with its first SUV, the C5 Aircross.
French auto company Citroen India has informed that the company has started home delivery of its first model C5 Aircross SUV in the Indian market. Customers can also book the model online after which the company is working to deliver the SUV to the customers directly from its production plant at Tiruvallur near Chennai. This is happening for the first time in the country when an automobile company is delivering its car to the customers, directly at home.
Delivery started at 50 places
Citroen has currently opened its showrooms in 10 select cities in the country, including Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Kochi, and Gurugram. For customers outside these cities, the company has started 100% direct online shopping for its flagship model. The company has so far launched the home delivery model at 50 locations across the country.

The Citroen C5 Aircross in India starts with Rs 29.90 lakh while the top model is priced at Rs 31.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This SUV has been introduced in two variants, 'Feel' and 'Shine'.
Features
The Citroen C5 Aircross is equipped with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, which comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Dual-tone dashboard finish has been also given that gives the car its sporty look. Along with this, features like panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, grip control system, blind spot monitoring system, dual-tone 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, driver seat massager have also been provided.
Powerful Engine
The Citroen C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates 177 Bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. It has a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 18.6 km/l. The car has an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
Competitors
The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV will compete with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Tucson, 2021 MG Hector, 2021 Jeep Compass, and Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace in India.
