Citroen has finally revealed the prices of its C3 in India and it starts from Rs 5.7 lakh ex-showroom Delhi for the standard non-turbo 1.2 petrol which stretches to Rs 6.9 lakh for the top-end Dualtone variant with the Vibe pack. The turbo-petrol C3 meanwhile is priced from Rs 8.05 lakh with the dualtone Vibe pack. Do note that these are introductory prices.
The C3 is available with two engine options with the entry level being a 1.2 litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and then there is a more powerful 1.2 litre turbo petrol with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
From its brand launch and its first car being the C5 Aircross, Citroen has increased its dealership count in India and will have showrooms in more cities across India. In total the C3 would be retailed via 20 La Maison Citroën Phygital Showrooms across 19 cities. Standard warranty is 2 years/ 40,000 km.
The C3 is available in Live and Feel trims with the Feel getting more features. Top-end trims of the C3 have a 10 inch touchscreen along with a digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity, USB charging slots and more. That said it misses out on features like a rear camera or a wiper.
That said it does get a nice four speaker audio system and basic safety equipment. The C3 also brings in scope for personalization too with three packs/ 56 customization options and 10 exterior colour combinations to choose from. Even the interior colour can be customized with coloured inserts.
The C3 at these prices would compete with the Nissan Magnite to the Renault Kiger plus the Tata Punch in the entry level subcompact SUV space even though Citroen says that the C3 is actually a premium hatchback.
