New Delhi: BMW will launch its own version of the TVS Apache RR 310 in India on June 15. A teaser image sent to us shows a similar tail-lamp design to the Apache RR 310. BMW Motorrad India will launch this motorcycle to gain entry into the volume space. The images show that not much has changed from the TVS bike with some details being visible like the mirrors and the pillion grab rail or the visor looking similar.
However, there could be minor changes with the BMW Motorrad colours and new badging of course while some new styling details would be added in to differentiate it visually.
The 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine remains as do the other components while adjustable suspension could be offered. While many would have been hoping for bigger changes, the styling could be tweaked and the rest would be the same in order for the bike to be priced competitively.

BMW's fully-faired version of the flagship bike from TVS. Pricing will play an interesting role in the success of this bike and BMW Motorrad would be expected to price is lower than the new KTM RC 390 and just above the TVS RR 310.
Expect to pay Rs 25,000 more than the TVS for the BMW which might seem like a good deal for the different styling plus the badge of course. This move will enable both to get a vast number of buyers from this space and expand the reach of TVS too along with helping BMW take on the likes of KTM as well. More details are to be revealed shortly and we will tell you more details about the bike at its India launch on the 15th of this month.
