Vishwakarma Puja 2024: According to Hindi mythology, Lord Vishwakarma is the 7th son of Lord Brahma, who had helped Lord Brahma in making the universe. It is believed that before the creation of the world, craftsmen and engineers were born.


The birth day, Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja, is in commemoration of the divine architect. Vishwakarma puja is celebrated every year in the month of Bhadrapad and lies mostly on 16th or 17th September. This year, Kanya Sankranti falls on September 16th, so Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja will also be observed on this day.
