On the day Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss various long-pending issues in the state, Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan on Friday (October 6) took to highlight the alleged "chaotic" financial situation of the state. The actor-turned-politician said that there was no development, progress, or source of income for the government. He alleged that the state was being run on taking loans.
Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan said, "The state financial situation of Andhra Pradesh is in a chaotic situation. As there is no development, progress & there is no income source."
"The state is being run on taking loans even to the extent that the government employees are getting salaries after 10-15 days...The money that comes from the centre's consolidated fund even that money is diverted to other expenditures," he said.

On Friday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and appealed to him to look into the long-pending issues in Andhra Pradesh including reimbursement of Rs 1,310 crore arrears for the Polavaram Irrigation project. In the meeting spanning 45 minutes, Reddy reportedly requested the Union Minister to help the state.
Earlier, Jagan Reddy also met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Power Minister R K Singh to discuss the pending issues in the state in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Janasena party on Thursday said the actor-turned-politician will continue his alliance with NDA.
