Hyderabad: Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday at party formation day meeting asserted that the party would come into power in the state in 2024 elections while making scores of promises to the people and questioning the ruling YSRCP government for making the state debt-ridden.


Janasena Formation Day meeting was held at Ippatam village near Mangalagiri in the Guntur district.


Pawan Kalyan said that Andhra Pradesh would be radically changed under "Janasena Saubhagya Patham". We will take a solid industrial policy. We will give free sand to white ration card holders and low-income people, said the JSP chief.


With employees being hit due to the pandemic, he promised his government would create five lakh private jobs every year. He further said, Visakhapatnam will be transformed into a cosmopolitan city.

He said that their main goal is to make Andhra Pradesh debt-free. To make that he added friendly investment plans will be implemented. Pawan said running the party means holding on to a strong ideology and it starts with one person. The Janasena, which started with six men today, stands strong with millions of Janasena activists.


Responding to Pawan Kalyan's comment, Andhra Pradesh's Transport Minister Perni Venkatramaiah slammed Janasena chief, calling him a "confused leader" who lacks a single ideology.


Pawan Kalyan indicated that he was open to allying with the Telugu Desam Party. Even though Pawan Kalyan made no comments on coalitions, he emphasised that he did not want the anti-YSRCP votes split.


Besides making promises, the actor-turned-politician questioned the ruling government for making the state debt-ridden and not giving people what they deserve to have. Pawan Kalyan questioned the government's policies and said that the YSRCP had crippled the state's development.

After the Jenasena Party Formation Day meet, AP Minister Perni Venkatramiah questioned if Pawan Kalyan founded party to talk against injustice, why was he mute when the TDP was in power from 2014 to 2019? He further questioned Pawan Kalyan on why he did not speak out against the BJP, which refused to grant Andhra Pradesh special category status and failed to follow through on promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation.
