Andhra Pradesh High Court granted anticipatory bail to former CM and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road case on Wednesday. The court heard the argument on the anticipatory bail petition filed by him granted temporary bail. The court also issued an interim order not to arrest till October 16 in the case.



The court also instructed CID to not make any arrests till Thursday in the Angallu 307 case. The High Court stayed the PT warrant on Inner Ring Road petition filed by CID Vijayawada ACB court.

On Tuesday, Vijayawada court posted the hearing of Andhra Pradesh CID's petition for prisoner transit (PT) warrants of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam and AP FiberNet case on October 11. 


The Inner Ring Road scandal involves possible irregularities in the construction of an internal ring road in Amaravati. According to the CID, the road's intended path was changed to favor businesses affiliated with TDP leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu. The AP FiberNet scam took place during the TDP regime between 2014-19. The Crime Investigation Department has found irregularities in AP State FiberNet Ltd (APSFL), putting the sum involved at ₹ 321 crore.


Meanwhile, a demonstration resembling crucifixion was staged by a former MLA of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Undi village, near Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh to protest against the arrest of N. Chandrababu Naidu, according to the police.
