New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy, 50, passed away on Monday morning due to a heart attack. The minister's sudden demise has shocked the people of the state.
The minister died of a heart attack while he was being treated at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, reports ABP Desam.
The minister, who arrived in India from Dubai yesterday after a week-long official visit to Dubai, was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad after showing up the symptoms of chest uneasiness. On Monday morning, doctors confirmed that the minister suffered a heart attack.
Goutham was born on November 2, 1971, in Brahmanapalli Village of Nellore District in Andhra Pradesh. Goutham is from a political family, His Father Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy was a senior politician and former Parliamentarian. Gowtham Stepped into politics as a contenstent from YSRCP for Atmakur Assembly Constituency in Nellore District in 2014. He won both in 2014, 2019 from Atmakur, became IT Minister in the YSRCP government.
Goutham has a good reputation for being very soft-spoken in politics. No matter how provocative the opposition parties may be, Mekapati responds sensitively.
