In the wee hours of Wednesday, a massive broke out at a manufacturing unit of paper plate factory in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor. The fire engulfed the factory due short circuit at the manufacturing unit. Three persons were trapped inside the factory and died due to suffocation. The three deceased were identified as Bhaskar, Dhilli Babu and Balaji.
After getting to know about the issue, police rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire. After a preliminary investigation, the police said that the fire accident was due to short circuit.

While the manufacturing unit was set up on the first floor of the building, the owner, Bhaskar, resided on the second floor of the same building. Bhaskar, Dhilli Babu and Balaji -- who was there at Bhaskar's house to celebrate his son Dhilli Babu's birthday on Tuesday -- were caught up in the blaze.
According to the reports, Dhilli Babu, a software engineer, who works in Bengaluru, reached his home town Chittoor on Monday to celebrate his birthday on Tuesday.
The residents in the neighboring houses alleged that by the time fire tenders reached the spot it was late. The neighbours also said that fire tenders didn't arrive with enough water in the tanks as they had to refill the tank and reach the spot again to douse the fire completely.
