Earlier on Saturday, tension prevailed briefly outside Visakhapatnam airport as party chief Pawan Kalyan supporters surrounded TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy and YSRCP Ministers Roja and Jogi Ramesh. They raised slogans against three capitals issue. Police had to enter the scene to disperse the mob.

The YSRCP leaders alleged that some of the people who were waiting for the arrival of Pawan Kalyan attacked the cars of Ministers Roja, Jogi Ramesh and TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy who reached the Vizag Airport after completing the Visakha Garjana Conference on Saturday evening and some of their personnel were seriously injured.

Meanwhile, thousands turned up for 'Visakha Garjana' despite heavy downpour since Friday night. The rally was called up by Joint Action Committee (JAC) in favour of YSRCP's three capital plan. Hinting that the three capital proposal is back on the card, YSRCP organized a mega meet to push Vizag as executive capital on Friday.

'Visakha Garjana’ is a propels demand, said the ruling party. The YSRCP reiterated that the party has a clear agenda on the 3-capital policy and that it is determined to develop all the regions of the state equally and provide doorstep delivery of governance.
