Hyderabad: Jana Sena Party Cheif Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with Janasena party executive members via teleconference on Tuesday evening in the wake of the Covid Third Wave.

Observing that certain parties are interested in allying with the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan cautioned party members not to get caught up in the political slugfest by other parties and instead focus on strengthening the party.

Pawan Kalyan stated that the party is already in an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He went on to say that when it comes to the alliance, he will not take any judgment without consulting all other Jana Sena functionaries and that they will only contemplate the partnership in the 2024 elections after taking the input from Jana Sena functionaries.

He added there is no reason to be concerned by statements regarding the Janasena party's rank and file because the party is gaining strength on the ground level on a daily basis.

"Janasena is not a party of a few people with vested interests, but a group of idealists with no personal agendas." He stated as quoted by ABP Desam. "We strive for the people and their interests." He claimed that the youth, who are the country's future, is with Janasena, and that after seven years in the party, these youth are ready to take on leadership roles. "It will take a little longer, but it will happen," he insisted.

The party now has party Mandal presidents in 403 of the 676 assembly seats, and all 175 assembly constituencies will have booth committees by the end of the year, said the actor-turned-politician.

During the meeting, it was resolved to hold a significant celebration of the party's formation day (March 14) and to lay out an action plan for the 2024 elections.
