Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the departments on Monday that generate revenue for the state. The officials provided the details of excise, revenue, municipal administration, forest and environment departments. 



CM Jagan ordered the implementation of many decisions aimed at transparency in tax collection and quality services in the tax department. The officials explained to the CM that more steps are being taken to strengthen the data analytics centre in the tax department.


CM said that transparency, accountability and efficiency should be maintained, so there is no scope for legal disputes, and appropriate measures should be taken to prevent income stagnation. He advised taking steps to resolve the complaints and objections of the taxpayers from time to time and to ensure that the returns are received from time to time. 


CM Jagan ordered officials to install CCTV cameras in the sub-registrar's office, MRO, MDO, RDO, collector's offices and all government offices to prevent corruption. He ordered to prevent the illegal manufacture and transportation of liquor. He also said that women police officers are vital in preventing illegal liquor in belt shops and villages.


Review on auction of Agrigold assets


The CM said that the government has already paid Rs 905.57 crores to the victims of the Agrigold chit fund scam as promised. The Chief Minister opined that all kinds of disputes should be resolved quickly and move forward.
