Hyderabad: The government of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday has deposited funds for qualified beneficiaries who have not received benefits under welfare schemes due to various circumstances. The government has allotted Rs 703 crores for the 9.3 lakh beneficiaries.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, speaking at the event, said that the government has not compromised in providing welfare packages to the needy. He recalled that, despite the state government facing financial crunch during the Covid outbreak, social programs were not halted and it continues to conduct welfare schemes regardless of caste, religion, or region.
Release of funds under these schemes
Under YSR Cheyutha Scheme, 2,50,929 beneficiaries were handed over a total sum of Rs. 470.40 crores on Tuesday. We are giving Rs 7.67 crore to 1,136 people under YSR Aasara Scheme. 59,661 women have been given Rs 53.51 crores, Under YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme, said CM Jagan.
While YSR zero interest crop loans in 2019-20 provided Rs 9.01 crore to 62,622 beneficiaries, YSR Rythu Bharosa provided Rs 58.89 crores to 2,86,059 beneficiaries, Jagananna Vidya Deevena provided Rs.19.92 crores to 31,940 students, said the CM in an event.
Under YSR Vasathi Deevena Scheme, Rs 39.82 crores were given to 43,010 recipients. YSR Kapu Nestham provided Rs 19.47 crores to 12,983 persons. Under YSR Vahana Mitra, Rs 8.09 crores were doled out to 8,080 recipients. YSR Mastsyakara Bharosa Scheme provided Rs 3.79 crores to 3,788. Under the YSR Nethanna Nestham scheme, 794 beneficiaries were given Rs.1.91 crores, he concluded.
