New Delhi: India is considered an agricultural country primarily. A large population of the country is still making a living out of farming. Agriculture contributes up to 17 to 18 per cent of the country's GDP.

In such a situation, the government keeps on introducing various schemes to help the farmers. One of these schemes is known as the 'Kisan Credit Card'.
