Rahul Gandhi's Leh-Ladakh Diaries

Rahul Gandhi, who is on a visit to Union Territory Ladakh, rode a motorcycle from Leh to Pangong Lake last week.

Rahul Gandhi also interacted with locals, including farmers, during his trip.

During his bike expedition, Gandhi also met shopkeepers and local peasants.

Apart from his adventurous side, Gandhi's softer side was also seen. Here he is seen holding a kid at Khardung La.

This is Rahul Gandhi’s first visit to Ladakh since Jammu and Kashmir was bifurcated into two Union Territories.

The Congress MP from Wayanad was seen riding a sports bike, KTM 390 Adventure, during his trip.

Rahul Gandhi also met a group of children who were seen playing musical instruments.

Gandhi wore proper biking gear, inlcuding boots and helmet, during the journey.

On Saturday, Gandhi paid tribute to his father Rajiv Gandhi on his 79th birth anniversary from banks of Pangong Lake.

On Monday, Rahul reached Leh's main market and met Army veterans and locals.
