All About Uttarakhand Government's Helicopter Yatra For Adi Kailash And Om Parvat

Adi Kailash and Om Parvat are the significant pilgrimage sites in the Vyas Valley, Uttarakhand and hold deep spiritual importance.

Om Parvat, shaped like the 'Om' symbol, is a natural wonder situated on the border of India, Nepal, and Tibet

Viewing Om Parvat required a challenging trek to Nabhidang from the Old Lipu Lekh Pass.

Trip To Temples and the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) have collaborated to revolutionise the pilgrimage experience.

A one-day aerial darshan of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat is now available, allowing devotees to return the same day.

Starting on April 15th, a five-day helicopter yatra will commence, landing near the holy sites that will minimise walking distances.

The yatra from April 15th to May 1st will offer mesmerising views of the snow-covered Vyas Valley, Adi Kailash, and Om Parvat.

This yatra will again resume in November and extend until March, catering to pilgrims throughout the winter season.

The package will include overnight stays in Pithoragarh and Gunji/Nabhi/Nepalchu, six helicopter rides, and transfers by All Terrain Vehicles.

The initiative emphasises comfortable travel options, convenience, and spiritual fulfilment for devotees.
