Lok Sabha Election 2024: States Set To Witness Multiple Phases Of Voting
The Lok Sabha polls are set to be conducted in seven phases across various states and Union Territories.
On April 19, voting will commence for 102 constituencies in Phase 1.
Followed by Phase 2 on April 26, Phase 3 on May 7, Phase 4 on May 13, Phase 5 on May 20, Phase 6 on May 25,
and finally Phase 7 on June 1.
States that will witness multiple phases of voting include, Uttar Pradesh: Seven Phases (April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1)
West Bengal: Seven Phases (April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1)
Maharashtra: Five Phases (April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20)
Jammu and Kashmir (UT): Five Phases (April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20)
Madhya Pradesh: Four Phases (April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13)
Chhattisgarh: Three Phases (April 19, April 26, and May 7)
Assam: Three Phases (April 19, April 26, and May 7)
Manipur: Two Phases (April 19 and April 26)
Karnataka: Two Phases (April 26 and May 7)
Rajasthan: Two Phases (April 19 and April 26)
Tripura: Two Phases (April 19, and April 26)
The Election Commission will announce the crucial poll results on June 4.
