Why mosques not closed following Corona scare?

Authorities in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday announced closure of Tirumala's famous Balaji temple for devotees as part of the precautionary measures to contain spread of Covid-19. At some mosques, the management committees and volunteers provided hand sanitizers to the worshippers but people are still going to mosques in large numbers. On Sunday, PM Modi had urged people to remain inside their houses under a self-imposed curfew.
